WOMEN: MAKE A STATEMENT.

This little black number from Topshop I think really makes a statement for any occasion. I would say the white bow definatly catches the eye whilst the black contrasts what the bow does and keeps it minimal. To wear this I would guess that you would have to be quite 'out there' and quite a chatty person.

At a heafty £65 for this dress, I would say get a cheapy black dress from Primark and hunt down a bow or even get some ribbon from a market/flower shop and make one yourself. This outfit could be done for under £10 if shopped around for bargains.

GOING OUT GEAR: GIRLS

Like I have always said, I'm not into fashion - which I think is a good thing why girls and boys should take note of what I think looks good. Im simply judging as anyone else. I have seen quite a few girls wearing dresses like these two below. I think they scream summer fashion, elegance and sophistication. I personally think girls of all sizes can wear both of these, and would look best if they had a natural looking tan!
The white dress from River Island at a pretty steep £45, whilst the red dress from TopShop at again, another steep price of £46.

SUMMER FASHION:MEN

I have been looking online for some shorts like the ones i have just posted about. Here are some look-a-likes that do the job. I got these from topman, wouldn't normally shop there as i think its expensive (broke) but here are my picks.

Here are the shorts i found similar to the ones previously posted about. I would have to say my favourite are the blue and white striped ones (bottom left), they look summery and light and probably not uncomfortable to wear. I would probably wear it with some brown leather sandals and probably a normal white t-shirt.
Also whilst looking for look-a-likes, i found some 'old man' styled shorts (top right). They don't scream summer fashion, but its fashiony. I would love to buy these, i think they would look great with a

SUMMER FASHION 2011:MEN

I'm not saying i'm into fashion, because i'm not. I am mainly into observing and watching the current trends. I know a lot of people who shop only at Topman/Topshop, H&M, Primark and all them other places and claim to be the most fashionable person around, when instead they're not. I try to go to alternative shops such as charity shops, markets and if i have some jeans, trousers, tshirts or hoodies that i like but have grown out of, i will make them into something else such as shorts etc.
But i'll give it a whirl, i personally think this summer is all about the shorts! Hide them floral print shorts and invest in some of these. I think black shorts are always a winner and goes with almost anything, but in the heat - something cool and light such as the blue or white ones would be best. I think it all depends on your tan colour. I am lucky that my tan is natural and quite good, so i can get away with wearing bright whites, flashy colours and typical blacks.
I would say my favourite shorts out of these men would be the blue ones. They are quite European, quite vintage and looks really effortless. I will be on the hunt for some like these as i especially like the fabric (looks quite like its rolled up at the end).
